COVID-19: 10 regions of Kazakhstan still in ‘red zone’
NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM 10 regions of Kazakhstan are still in the high COVID-19 risk ‘red zone’ as of April 24, the Telegram Channel of the Interdepartmental Commission for preventing coronavirus spread reads.
The cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent, as well as Akmola, Atyrau, Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Kyzylorda and Mangistau regions remain the ‘red zone’. Almaty, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Kostanay and Pavlodar regions are in the ‘yellow zone’, while Turkestan and North Kazakhstan regions are in the ‘green zone’.
As earlier reported, over the 24 last hours 2,837 more COVID-19 cases were recorded in Kazakhstan.
