1935 – The Council of People’s Commissars of Kazakh ASSR decrees to establish the Kazakh State Arts Gallery. In 1976 it was renamed as the State Museum of Arts of Kazakhstan.
1992 – Kazakhstan and the Republic of Colombia establish diplomatic relations.
1993 – Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan sign an agreement on the foundation of the Economic Union in Central Asia to form the common economic space.
1994 – The Kazakh Government decrees to name the Akmola AgroTechnical University after Saken Seifullin, the Kazakh writer, prominent public figure, statesman.
1998 – Almaty city unveils the statute to the Soviet and Kazakh composer, merited artist of the Kazakh SSR, Asset Beiseuov.
2003 – The I Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions takes place in Astana to strengthen accord and foster constructive dialogue between the civilizations, confessions, countries and peoples.
2005 – The Memorial Complex honoring Aliya Moldagulova unveils in Aktobe city.
2009 – The memorial honoring well-known Kazakh batyr Yer Zhanibek opens in East Kazakhstan.
2010 – The list of historical and cultural monuments of local importance is compiled and approved as part of the Cultural Heritage program.
2012 – The Abai opera is premièred at the Meiningen Theatre, in Thuringia.
2013 – Well-known Russian writer Gennady Vassiliyev completes his work on Khan Bukei historical novel featuring the role of Astrakhan guberniya in the life of Bukei Khan.
2019 –Uly Dala Tarikhy book (The History of the Great Steppe) is awarded at the Card Couture Award 2019 in Prague. It is one of the most prestigious awards in Europe.
2020 – President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev decrees to open the General Consulate of Kazakhstan in Samarqand, Uzbekistan.
2020 – The Industrial Development Foundation is set up in Kazakhstan to support the country’s manufacturing plants.
