1992 – The Cabinet of Ministers of Kazakhstan passes adopts a decree establishing the state youth award Daryn.
1996 – Kazakhstan signs the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty that bans all nuclear tests, for both civilian and military purposes, in all environments.
2011 – Aktau city hosts the solemn opening ceremony of the monument to the prominent Kazakh folk musician, composer, Dombra player, author of dombra works Kurmangazy Sagyrbaiuly.
2011 – Railway officials of Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Belarus, Poland and Germany sign a memo of cooperation in the city of Chongqing, southwest China.
2013 – The International News Agency Kazinform and the Spanish News Agency EFE sign a memorandum of cooperation.
2013 – Then-President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev hands over the archival documents on 152 Spanish prisoners of war interned during the Second World War and imprisoned in the Karaganda prison camp to then-Prime minister of Spain Mariano Rajoy.
2014 – A photo-exhibition featuring the finds from the archives of Vatican, including 6 unique maps also covering Kazakhstan’s territory as well as letters by the Pope to the Turk ruler, takes place at the Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts in Almaty city.
2016 – The KazSTSat project is named best at the International Astronautical Congress (IAC-2016) taken place in Guadalajara, Mexico.
2018 – Tashkent city marks the 355th anniversary of the eminent Kazakh judge, public fugure Tole bi, who had greatly contributed to the unification of Kazkah people and friendship between fraternal Kazakh and Uzbek peoples.
