Storm alert issued for 8 regions of Kazakhstan

NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM Storm alert was issued for eight regions of Kazakhstan, Kazhydromet reports.

On January 18 Akmola region will brace for ground blizzard, high wind gusting 15-20 m/s.

Fog will blanket Aktobe, Almaty regions. High wind of 18-23 m/s will sweep through Almaty region locally.

Ice-slick will form on the roads in West Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda regions tomorrow.

Fog will also coat West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, North Kazakhstan, Turkestan regions.
